How IS America doing?

Bad. America is doing very bad. I'm not sure if that's proper grammar but that is exactly how it is. The world is becoming more and more lazy, I, for one, am guilty of being incredibly lazy. Humans now how the ability to control the world from their finger tips, and requires them to not even leave the couch. When I read books from the 50s and 60s or even books that seem prehistoric, there's just something about them, something brilliant, that i find impossible to be replicated in the modern era. Music. We went from bands of sheer brilliance, ACDC, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Rush, you name it, to people like Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne? I'm almost certain that the chair I'm sitting on right now has a higher IQ than all of them combined. The world, the world's culture, is crumbling, and most of the time I feel like I'm the only one noticing it.
